Using an cvlfo in a feedbackloop creating very "chaotic" cv!.

This sound was from a live video feed on a social media broadcast. At some point the audio just got caught into a feedback loop that lasted for a bit. I thought it sounded interesting and saved it. Has kind of a laser or phaser cannon kind of thing going on. Perhaps an alert sound of some sort. Probably many possibilities for usage.

Was walking around and i heard this strange sound so i recorded it with my i phone.

Recorded at ableton live, using old tx81z synth from yamaha + boss digital delay dd7 messing around with feedbacks and time creating tape like fx.

Had a short relaxing session with my modular. I wanted to use the "divide by 64" patch and make some generative sounds/music. I added some mixer feedback. This is a patch for 2 voices.

Another piece of feedback recorded using a mobile phone, thats why the quality aint all that, pedal used is a electroharmonix polychorus.

De-tuned electric guitar noise played through a heavy metal pedal and a small practice amp , recorded with a cheap condenser mic and fussed with a bit.

This is a recording i made for one of my songs. I found it nice to run the group's output through the ohmforce ohmicide and have some fun with the separate bands. The original loop consists of me, drumming on my metal kitchen-sink with drum-brushes. The snary accents are the brushes on the back of my acoustic guitar. All recorded with a neumann u87 and mangled through a ua solo610 with tube-gain cranked up. The bassdrumsound is also an handplayed sound from my nord lead. All recorded in 48/16.

Feedback texture created using soundtoys echoboy delay unit.

Adaption of my "backwards swoosh" sound effect, fed through a delay vst with the feedback quickly increased to a very high level and then dropped down. Reminded me of a suitable effect for a warphole or something like that, hence the name. Yet another attempt at making an "astroboy" style effect.

A sequence in a minor. Spring reverb feedback. Filter sweeps controlled by nlc sloth. I'm not using a sequencer. There are other was to obtain a sequence on a modular synth.

I recorded this quick improvisation with my built-in laptop microphone and track monitoring on in reaper, which resulted in it sounding washed-out, warped, and screechy in the high end. At the beginning you hear the distorted wail of a left click initiating the recording. Somebody walks into the living room at the end and we share an exchange. I didn't add any effects or edit this audio in any way, it's just a fun experiment. Let me know if you use this for something!!!!!.

Made sometime during 2017. Excerpts from my experiments with sinusoidal waves, homemade distortion effects, digital reverb, room reverb, and speaker->mic->pc feedback. Several effect parameters are controlled via an ekg setup called the "infernal gadget" which i constructed between 2010-2011 and used for several improvised music sessions.

No, it's not beautiful but its a generative feedback patch.

Me and a mate just er, decided to smash 2 cheap guitars to bits, something to do at the time.

Sample is a clip from another song i just recorded. Created with effects pedals feeding back into each other. Effects used: behringer micro-mixer (used here as a "clean boost/volume effect), sirkut electronics gnarler, danelectro eq, boss xtortion, and boss metal zone, with various other fx sprinkled throughout. This is another "sounds kind of like screaming" sample.

A massive feedback sound by putting tons of delay, reverb, distortion and more weirdness on some sample. Made in ableton live 7, with freeware vst plug-ins: crazyivan and ambience.

Why does everything i upload sound like people screaming and/or chainsaws!?. Sound source is a contact mic producing feedback into various fx. The main fx used for the clip are a sirkut electronics gnarler, boss metal zone, dod grunge, and finally, a danelectro french fries auto wah. Recorded direct-to-sound card as usual. This is a sample taken from a longer piece.

Stereo recording incorporating 2 recordings made simultaneously on the web sdr (software defined radio) in north east pensylvania (fn21mh) at http://k3fef. Org:8901/i used the filename of one of the recordings for part of this new dual receivers recording mixed in goldwave and time-synched by ear. Left channel is the pensylvania receiver, right channel is the uk receiver. Heard are various stations working or trying to work w1uuu in massachusetts including stations in the dominican republic, argentina, the ukraine, trinidad and tobago, colombia and florida. Some stations are heard better in pa, some better in the uk. Lots of static crashes heard from late spring lightning storms hundreds or thousands of kilometers away from both receivers. While trying to get my microphone to work, it was having this unusual feed back buzzing pulsing sounds. Along with a strange noise. (this wasn't my voice, and the file hasn't been edited. ). "who's there?" and the "hello's" are of course me, trying to get the microphone to work. I decided to record it after i felt it was strange. The sound is of course free to use for whatever you desire, credit if you want and leave a comment below to be nice. :).

Using a bass drum module to get not that bassdrummy sounds. . . Combining this with different types of feedback. I didn't know how to end the recording, as you will notice. I'm using an analog delay and spring reverb. Maybe the ending in it self is interesting? i find it hard to "tag" this sound :-)how useless is this sound on a scale from 1 to 5? 5 is totally useless. . .

Boring sound. . . Neuron patch (?). . . Inspired by nlc squid axon (i have saved some hp for that one!) i have patched up a simple 2 stage asr with 2 s/h. Most of the time it plays its atonal melody, but when the patch is stimulated (by a sloth lfo) feedback opens up. I can adjust the sensitivity in different ways (so i can simulate the intake of drugs. . . ). The sound from the oscs goes though vcfs with some resonance. The vcfs are controlled by the same sloth lfo. My neuron patch. . . No hands during recording. My favourite part is when nothing happens - for almost 1 min?! but you can hear the filter working via the vcfs. The cv must be in some strange area.
